Every ingredient in Udos Ultimate Oil Blend is vegan-friendly, carefully selected for its health value, and to make it easier for you to consume essential ‘good fats’ in a balanced way. 'Good fats' or essential fatty acids (EFAs) play a vital role in many functions within your body, including heart, brain, skin and vision health.
Only two fatty acids are essential for humans: ALA - alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and LA - linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid).
Udos Ultimate Oil Blend is easy to incorporate into your daily diet with minimum effort. Enjoy a drizzle over salads, pasta dishes and mashed or baked potatoes, mix into smoothies, soups, casseroles, porridge and protein shakes, or take straight from the spoon. Just remember not to heat the oil as that can damage the delicate essential fatty acids.
The oil is refrigerated in a dark, amber glass bottle for optimal freshness and to preserve the health benefits of the delicate essential fats.
How To Use: Pour around 1-2 tablespoons of this nutritious oil on your food:
Suggested use:
Mix in with prepared pasta sauces
Add to porridge
Blend with your favourite smoothie or juice (see quick recipe below)
Mix with balsamic vinegar for a salad dressing
Mix in with Mayonnaise
Add to a fruit yoghurt
Add to dips and spreads
Mix in with mashed potato or pour into stews or soups
Udos Choice Oil Blend is compatible with all foods and can be used with cold, warm, and hot (once off the heat source) foods but avoid cooking or frying as this damages the delicate structure of the oils, and greatly reduces their nutritional benefits. Mixing into prepared food at serving temperature is preferred.
Favourite uses are in salads, protein shakes, yoghurt, juices, soups, steamed vegetables, rice and pasta, and balsamic vinegar for dipping.
Children: Administer the oil in proportion to weight. If you weigh 100 pounds and use 3 dessert spoons each day, a 10-pound child should take about 1/10th as much as you. However, because children are more metabolically active than grown-ups, they may need a little more oil than is proportional to their weight.
For children under 3 years: 1 teaspoon every 2 days
Children aged 3 - 8: 1 teaspoon a day
Children aged 8 - 12: 1 tablespoon a day
Children over 12: 1-2 tablespoons per day
